The Nanjing Unmanned Agricultural Machinery Engineering Research Center is a comprehensive innovation platform for the development, testing, and inspection of unmanned agricultural machinery, focusing on issues such as the lack of common foundations and key standards for intelligent agricultural machinery in the development of the unmanned agricultural machinery industry, dependence on imported electro-hydraulic control and sensing, poor conditions for mechanization of farmland, and weak digital infrastructure. We mainly conduct research on intelligent environment perception, working status detection, intelligent agricultural machinery control, and implementation of agricultural machinery functions for unmanned agricultural machinery. We break through key technologies such as unmanned navigation control, intelligent perception and recognition, data analysis and decision support, robot and human-machine collaboration, and develop smart agricultural machinery equipment such as fruit and vegetable picking robots, multi-functional orchard intelligent robots, unmanned orchard intelligent agricultural machinery platforms, and unmanned tractors. The total investment for the construction of this engineering center is 15 million yuan, and the construction period is from 2024 to 2027. It will inject strong impetus into the development of the unmanned agricultural machinery industry in Nanjing and promote the modernization of agriculture.
